Dale Brownless

Chief Video Producer
Windows Movie Maker Pro

“…can I help you?”

Dale is a 20 year-old gaming enthusiast from Aberdeen who works in a supermarket in between recording, editing and rendering videos.

Dale is the primary video-making machine of The Beard Network; he is responsible for the Laughs In The Lobby series, most of the Let’s Plays and our custom video thumbnails. When he’s not thinking of amusing one-liners to include in potential Laughs In The Lobby episodes, he often finds himself the brunt of everyone else’s jokes, mostly on account of his luminous ginger hair.

Dale is also the resident Halo and Kingdom Hearts fanboy, having played through each game multiple times, read most (if not all) of the books and watched every Halo-based film and web-series in the known universe.

After starting his own YouTube channel for Let’s Plays and other fun edits, Dale eventually built up a small but dedicated following. He met Nic while they both worked at the aforementioned supermarket, bonding over their common interest in video games. After showing Nic his channel, Dale was then asked to join The Beard Network as a video producer and editor. He promptly agreed.

Dale is completely self-taught in his editing experience, using helpful guides here and there to help him along. He currently edits with anywhere up to six programs per video. His platform of choice is the Xbox 360 where he enjoys games such as Halo 4, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Doom 3, Trials Evolution and Resident Evil 6. His all-time favourite game is either Halo 3 or any of the Kingdom Hearts games.

If Dale is not playing video games, he is usually editing videos, rendering videos, uploading videos, Skyping with friends or reading…yes, reading.
